“My cousin had been telling me for years that he had these homies who skated and made music ‘just like me’. I thought to myself, ‘yeah, who gives a fuck,’ but ended up checking out Henry from Outerspace and was blown away. The first time I met Juj I ended up being escorted off campus in the back of a cop car and woke up passed out on my cousin’s floor. We all partied that weekend and at some point he played me his beats and I knew he was on some shit. I started playing their joints out at our events, and one night got Yuk so amped on a Shlohmo track he thought was mine that I practically broke the fool’s heart when I told him it wasn’t even me. Now there’s nobody who don’t know them cats over at Wedidit, and I’m just lucky to have met these fuckers early on. Nothing makes you feel old like a group of cats who can’t get into bars that skate + make music better than you do. “
